I am in the process of getting the SDK and Source Code of Catechumen from the developers. I have Ralph Bagley's email and I will inquire him about getting the development files. If Ralph decides to release them then the game should be completely moddable. I will report back here if/when I obtain the development files.

Interesting project.
If you could make a mod slowing down game speed, it would be great. Catechumen would gain a lot without the ridiculous speed of some monsters.

Just a quick update on this - I -finally- have gotten in touch with Ralph, mostly with the help of fellow Catechumen developer Nat Weiss, and Ralph has agreed to release the source code. He should send me the source code in a few days.

Another update. I have been pressing Ralph repeatedly and he says he's having trouble finding the source code disks...here's the full email: i.imgur.com/60VbpMF.pngIt's probably going to be a long time before I can ever get the source code.

If I ever get the source code I'm quite sure that we will be able to extract most of the assets from the game. Also, I thought I would share some info about how Catechumen's game engine was created. This is what programmer Nat Weiss said "It was written using the free, open-source Genesis3D engine. I started with that and created a rudimentary world to test some physics. After the physics got going we hired on some artists to create levels and 3d models for the characters." It sounds like Catechumen's engine is just a slightly modified Genesis3D engine. I did download the source code for the Genesis3D engine and I tried to compile it but the project files are very old and not compatible with the latest versions of Visual Studio. Here's a link to the Genesis3D source code: github.com/Att1ca/genesis3dPerhaps if we get this to compile, I could get more information from Nat Weiss about how they created Catechumen's engine, and we could effectively remake it. Perhaps the actual source code is not necessary.

Hey, if you every get the source code for the game, could you let me know? If not, I'm pretty sure it could be remade with Reality Factory (it is based on the genesis3d engine- its mentioned on the genesis3d Wikipedia page) if you can get the models+animations. webpage: www.realityfactory.info/cms/

The glucophone is a conductor to the engrossed state of natural improvisation. Сombining the melodic and rhythmical principles of the playing, the petal drum makes the system of mastering euphonious skills straightforward and fun.
